The latest parody show on Comedy Central, that lampoons the righteous outlaw and his band of misfit followers striking against the corrupt and somewhat effeminate ruler!

This show really is hilarious, and you don’t have to be on any kind of medication to say that. Think of the grand ole tradition of Monty Python, give it a slap of American attitude, and you have a raucous good time!

So Krod Mandoon (whose name is pronounced “crude” if you include the Swedish pronounced dots over the O) is an outlaw looking to thwart the cruel ways of Chancellor Dongalor, and right there with him, because after all every leader needs backup, is his jolly band of men! Wait, this isn’t Robin Hood, not by a long shot. With that in mind, his jolly band of men includes such hilarious characters as Loquasto, the depth-perception-challenged archer; Zezelryck the sorcerer, whose magic is more Vegas than Narnia; Aneka the pagan warrioress, who despite being Krod’s proclaimed girlfriend uses sex as her greatest most devastating weapon; and Bruce, who is just fabulous dah-ling. Chancellor Dongalor is the epitome of ham-fisted ruler with titillating bits of uproarious attempts at real evil, which usually fall quite short. His Second Barnabas, in his pageboy haircut and velvet coat and mincing ways, provides great backup to Dongalor while trying very hard to keep his own head.

Making fun of everything from Robin Hood to King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table with unmistakeable American zest, Krod Mandoon is not a show to miss!
